Delaine A. Eastin Fellowship Fund:
This award is given to a graduate student who is the first in her family to attend grad school and show academic progress, with a preference for female students.
Noreen Balos
Dr. Dorothy M. Chun Fellowship Fund:
This award is given to a graduate student enrolled in the Applied Linguistics interdisciplinary emphasis and studying second language acquisition.
Tiange Wang
Philip and Helen Green Fellowship:
This award is given to a graduate student who has advanced to candidacy and is employing an ethnographic and/or discourse-based research approach, with a preference for a student doing classroom research that supports democratic practices and equity of access for immigrant and second language students from working class backgrounds, with the purpose of finding practices that work and support students in gaining access to American society.
Heather Macias
James D. and Carol N. Dixon Fellowship:
This award is given to a graduate student who is actively involved in Reading Clinic activities. The students must be focused on reading studies and/or the broader filed of literacy studies.
Anthony Clairmont
Dorman Commons Fellowship:
This award is given to a graduate student who is a classroom teacher or a professional educator returning to work on an advanced degree.
Kelsee Kennedy
Haring Memorial Award:
This award is given to a graduate student whose academic and/or professional studies focuses on the education of individuals with special needs, preferably with attention to social and applied cognitive behavior analysis in integrated educational and community settings.
