Erika Felix

Dr. Erika Felix of UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School and Dr. Kirsten Olson will be facilitating an opportunity for the community to gather and learn as part of the healing process. UC Santa Barbara and local communities have been impacted by disasters and incidents of mass violence. The Academic & Staff Assistance Program (ASAP) would like to invite faculty and staff to a discussion about the impact of traumatic events on our community and ways to cope with such incidents. The dialogue will include specific ways to encourage our own positive coping as well as support each other to promote a healthy campus environment. The event will take place Tuesday, May 29, at 1:00 pm in the UCSB Visitor Center, located on the ground floor of the Student Affairs Administrative Services Building (SAASB).  Please RSVP at  asap@hr.ucsb.edu  or (805) 893-3318.
