Ryan Andersen, Christina Le, Alexia Limon, and Madison Ortiz from the Gevirtz School’s Teacher Education Program (TEP) have been selected as recipients of the Glikbarg Family Foundation Fellowships for the 2020 year.
This fellowship supports TEP students who have a commitment to teach in a low-income, ethnically diverse community where students historically may not complete high school and where dedicated teaching can positively affect the future for otherwise disadvantaged students.
Andersen and Ortiz will be receiving Education Specialist Credentials in Mild/Moderate support needs and M.Eds.; Le will be receiving her Education Specialist Credentials in extensive support needs and M.Ed.; Limon will be receiving her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and M.Ed.
