Faculty members and students from the Department of Counseling, Clinical & School Psychology at UC Santa Barbara’s Gevirtz School are presenting their research at the 2018 National Latinx Psychological Association (NLPA) Conference in San Diego, CA, October 18-21. The theme of the conference is “Navigating the Mosaic of Latinx Culture: Advocating for Growth, Intersectionality & Resilience.”
The NLPA is a national organization of mental health professionals, academics, researchers, and students whose objective is to generate and advance psychological knowledge and foster its effective application for the benefit of Latinas/os. NLPA’s membership represents a rich diversity of national background, ethnicity, cultural origin, religious tradition, and political ideology. We work in a wide range of professional and academic settings.
