Wolfe & Associates, Property Services and Dunn-Edwards Paints donated labor and materials to provide for the re-painting of the Don Atkinson Multicultural Memorial Group Room and the play therapy and couples therapy rooms at the Hosford Counseling & Psychology Services Clinic at the Gevirtz School.
”Everyone is delighted with the new colors,” says Heidi Zetzer, the Clinic’s Director. “Student clinicians, clients, staff, and faculty are all thrilled. I posted photos of the newly painted rooms on the Hosford Clinic and department alumni Facebook pages as well as on a national list serve for training clinics and viewers said, ‘Lovely! Nice room!’ and ‘Beautiful! Dreams really do come true!’ I could not agree more!”
The Hosford Clinic would especially like to thank from Wolfe & Associates: Ron Wolfe, President, and Scott Wolfe, Office Manager, who co-authorized the work; Scott Marrison, Director of Maintenance Division, who supplied the painters; Nick Morrison, Property Supervisor, who coordinated the donation, oversaw the work, and helped select colors; and Johnny Turner and Hector Casillas, paint technicians. From Dunn-Edwards Paints Hosford would like to especially thank Chuck Martin, who provided a donation of paint samples and many gallons of paint, and helped us to select colors.
The Hosford Counseling & Psychological Services Clinic is a university-based community clinic that promotes mental health and well-being by:
• Offering affordable effective counseling & psychological services
• Conducting research that contributes to the field of applied psychology
• Providing culturally-informed and evidence-based training for clinicians.
Psychological services include individual, couple, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy and testing/assessment services for people of all ages. Services are offered on a sliding scale.
The Hosford Clinic serves as a training site for students in the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology (CCSP) of UC Santa Barbara and as a clinical-research facility for the faculty and students of the CCSP Department. It also strives to provide educational, consultation, and training services to professional and paraprofessional clinicians and educators in the tri-counties.
