Sharon Conley

Sharon Conley is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Education, where she worked from 1995 to 2020. Sharon Conley was a Professor in the Department of Education. Prior to coming to UCSB, she was in the Division of Policy, Planning, and Administration at the University of Maryland at College Park. Her writing and research interests are in the general area of organizational behavior and work design, with particular attention to educational organizations. Her recent publications have focused on the topics of role stress and job satisfaction, school routines, work groups, teacher and administrator career development, and administrator-teacher interaction in relation to supervision and personnel evaluation.
