The Hosford Counseling & Psychological Services Clinic regrets that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing, at this time the Clinic cannot take new clients. The clinic is continuing with ongoing clients via telehealth. As usual, the Clinic’s website offers many helpful trauma resource links, but at this time has added special links to information about up-to-date UC Santa Barbara health alerts, system-wide UC information, and links to the Santa Barbara County Department of Health.
“We are working hard to launch telehealth services for our current clients,” says Dr. Heidi Zetzer, director of the Clinic. “We are grateful for the support of UCSB and the Gevirtz School for providing the support needed to move in this direction. We will keep the community informed about resources for coping with stress and loss during the pandemic. Be sure to check our website for these resources and updates on the availability of in-person and/or telehealth services for new clients.”
The Hosford Counseling & Psychological Services Clinic is a university-based community clinic that is designed to provide culturally sensitive, low-cost individual, couple, family, and group psychological treatment to the entire Santa Barbara community. It serves the general public as well as students, faculty and staff from our local universities/colleges. Hosford also strive to provide educational, consultation, and training services to professional and paraprofessional clinicians and educators in the tri-counties.
