Dr. Toni Zander will serve as Acting Director of the Hosford Counseling & Psychological Services Clinic for the 2015-2016 academic year while Dr. Heidi Zetzer is on sabbatical. Dr. Zander has held many positions at UC Santa Barbara over the past 30 years, including lecturer, supervisor, trainer, and primarily as a clinician providing services to UCSB students at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Student Health Services.
Dr. Zander is “looking forward to contributing to the training and supervision of the next generation of clinicians and supervisors and supporting the Hosford Clinic’s mission of offering low-cost, effective, evidenced based and culturally sensitive services to the community.”
The Hosford Counseling & Psychological Services Clinic is a university-based community clinic that is designed to provide culturally sensitive, low-cost individual, couple, family, and group psychological treatment and testing/assessment services to people living within the central coast community. The Hosford Clinic serves as a training site for students in the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology (CCSP) of the University of California, Santa Barbara and as a clinical-research facility for the faculty and students of the CCSP Department. We also strive to provide educational, consultation, and training services to professional and paraprofessional clinicians and educators in the tri-counties.
